Since Siskerk’s release, this character’s draw rate has remained relatively high, and many players have eagerly awaited her. I was able to obtain her second job in a single batch of 40 draws, unlocking the so-called “lucky player.” However, after seriously diving into playing this character, I must admit that her strength is acceptable, but to say she is good is not something I can confidently endorse. I even suggest that if you don’t have a main character (C), there’s no need to draw this character.
Firstly, Siskerk’s issues lie in her inherent flaws. While her strength is acceptable and she outputs reasonably well, the core problem is that her output can be interrupted. Her ultimate and E skills are disconnected; when she uses her ultimate, she can no longer output effectively. She relies on other characters for output, and she is a strong bond character. Although I recommend fire-based characters, using her effectively would be better suited to water or ice-based characters, such as Ciste, Hinoen, and Maranne. If you don’t include one of these, you might struggle when facing multiple hit monsters.
Secondly, without Nata’s buff, the current Nata account is crucial. Abyss often spawns multiple hit monsters and bosses. Without a Nata account, you’re likely to be punished. Therefore, in Siskerk’s team, you need to include a Nata character, such as Ciste, Hinoen, or Maranne. Without one, you might be unable to handle multiple hit monsters, as Siskerk’s single-target output is insufficient to counter them.
Thirdly, there are too many powerful main characters. We won’t discuss Vilette and Marvika, as there are already many powerful main characters. Even Ice-based veteran character Leoisle can compete with Siskerk. For players who don’t have a main character, I don’t recommend drawing Siskerk. It’s unnecessary, especially given that Siskerk can suddenly lose her E skill, leaving players without a way to attack.
Lastly, the upcoming Nodoka Kale will exacerbate Siskerk’s issues. She was released too late, and if she had been released earlier, she wouldn’t be in the current situation. After Nodoka Kale, players will likely experience a wave of numerical boosts, similar to Nata. If the developers introduce a new monster or boss to punish players, Siskerk will be relegated to the Dusty Garden, just like Qiyue.
In conclusion, who should consider drawing Siskerk? In my opinion, there are three types of players. The first are those who lack a powerful main character. If you’re someone who doesn’t have a strong main character, I recommend considering Siskerk. The second type are those who want to play the Freeze team or Ice-based characters. Siskerk is now a leading Ice-based character. Lastly, those who are interested in exploring or cooking. For these players, there’s no need to explain, just draw her.
